| Insulin Dose Advisor ControlWizard is an iPhone app that provides advise on insulin intake. The self-learning “Insulin Dose Advisor & Diabetes Diary” aims to make the life easier for the patients, and is classified as a medical app. The patient enters the measured blood glucose levels (measured with an external device) plus information about carbon intake and exercise. The application then compares these data with a database containing the patient’s previous measurements. The software aims is to find a combination of glucose level and insulin intake that provided the best glucose control in the past. If a sufficient number of cases are found, the patient is advised about the amount of insulin to take. |
