D2-7 Validation Framework 1.1

This deliverable contains the definition of the verification (internal) and validation (in the clinical sites) procedures to be performed in each prototype cycle. An accurate validation framework is a major objective of the REACTION project, since it provides the skeleton for all the verification and validation procedures that have to be performed during the entire lifecycle of the platform. Such skeleton includes also some constraints which impacts in the global structure of the design and development process which must be undertaken taking into consideration some new rules recently emerged in the medical software scenario (e.g. the recent amendment of the medical device directive).
